PERFORMANCE

ANTI – ABRASION

Matrix leather is characterized by an elevated resistance to abrasion and it largely outperform the requirements outlined by the European norm EN 20344/20345. It is in fact possible to achieve an abrasion resistance greater than 80,000 Martindale cycles.

WATERPROOF

Matrix leather is processed with an innovative water repellent retanning which allows the leather to comply with all the water resistance parameters and limits outlined by the European norm EN 20344/20345, as well as Sympatex and GORE standards.

BREATHABLE

Despite the Matrix leather is processed with a strong waterproof retanning, the finishing still confers a good water vapour permeability, which is compliant with European norm EN20344/20345.

ANTI – CORROSION

Matrix leather presents an elevated resistance against chemical agents and it is compliant with the international norm UNI EN 13832-1: 2019.

FIREPROOF

Scamosceria Astico’s latest research brought about a further innovation. Matrix leather can now be processed with a new fireproof retanning which allows the article to comply with the fire-retardant values required by the European norm UNI EN 15090.

SUN-REFLECT
