Nubuk Gore

First selection bovine grain leather, processed with a special waterproof retanning recipe, developed over the course of many years of experience. This process greatly enhances the dynamic resistance of water penetration and absorption of the leather. The classic nubuk buffing process add a silky “writing effect” to the surface and allows the leather to achieve a water vapour permeability level greater than 5 mg/cm².h. This article is particularly suitable for the production of Gore-Tex® certified footwear and accessories.

WATERPROOF

Astico has developed 4 levels of waterproof treatments to meet different technical needs, such as EN 20344/20345 norm, Sympa-Tex® and Gore-Tex®.
